Buffalo Street Books is very excited to welcome back local illustrator and author Katie Vaz in celebrating the release of her latest adult coloring book, Life with Plants: A Coloring Book, and its companion book, her recently illustrated memoir, My Life in Plants. Katie will be joined in conversation by Kristina Thelen, friend and Business Development Director at Downtown Ithaca Alliance. Katie will be reading an excerpt, sharing behind-the-scenes illustrations, talking about the inspiration behind the books, discussing the journey of her illustration career, and answering audience questions.

At the event, there will be copies of her book for sale and some fun plant-themed freebies! You are welcome to submit questions for the Q&A ahead of time by sending them to katie@katievaz.com (go ahead, ask her anything!).
