Over the last year or so I've been exploring comic-style illustration work to tell stories and share my experiences. I'm excited to share that a recent graphic essay of mine (which is from a larger work-in-progress) has been published on the Food + Grief Project, a special feature on the Unpeeled Journal that explores how our food connects us to those we lost and plays an important role in grief.
This personal story is about my experience with finding comfort in cooking and baking when I moved to Germany in my early twenties right after my dad died suddenly.
