Published comic on the Food + Grief Project!
Over the last year or so I've been exploring comic-style illustration work to tell stories and share my experiences. I'm excited to share that a recent graphic essay of mine (which is from a larger work-in-progress) has been published on the Food + Grief Project, a special feature on the Unpeeled Journal that explores how our food connects us to those we lost and plays an important role in grief.
This personal story is about my experience with finding comfort in cooking and baking when I moved to Germany in my early twenties right after my dad died suddenly.

New book on the horizon!
I’ve been a little quiet around here lately while I try to soak up as much summer as possible, AND also because I’ve been busy working on a NEW book that’s all about finding joy in the simple and good things in life.
